Final Collection - GFW

Fashion Design - A Final Collection

This Final Major Project was based on the concept of a close friend who suffers from Bipolar. Extracts from her diary, poetry and short stories were used to portray the darker side of Bipolar and the hidden concepts behind a Bipolars mind. Influences also came from poets such as Philip Larkin and Slyvia Plath. And artisits such as Julie Verhoeven.
This collection was chosen to be showcased on the catwalk at GFW.

Independent Market Project

Fashion Design - Hit The Road

Hit The Road focuses on Americana, 1950s photography and celebrities such as James Dean bringing in todays laid-back, gang-like culture. The mixture of the 1950s and 1980s young lifestayes bought together with todays modern hipster world creates very fun and easy-going colours and silhouettes. Hit The Road is a more commercial project and is aimed at young womanswear.
